How Frizz works

A live social app for meeting new people. Instead of scrolling profiles, you join live video rooms sorted by mood and talk to whoever's there. There's also Global Chat, anonymous confessions, Swipe for adding people, and daily chemistry matches.

No. It's for meeting people, full stop. Some people come for friends, some for company at 2am, some for a laugh. What you do with a connection is up to you, inside the community guidelines.

Yes. Joining rooms, going live, whispering and Global Chat cost nothing. Coins pay for friend requests and a few extras, and you earn them every day from streaks, quests and the Mystery Drop. You can also buy them.

Power Pack is an optional subscription with extras like weekly Super Likes and being seen first in Swipe. You never need it to use Frizz.

You pick the mood you're actually in, from nine: can't sleep, just vibing, need motivation, want to laugh, feeling nostalgic, anxious but here, need to vent, celebrating something and feeling lonely. Mood rooms are grouped the same way, so picking one shows you rooms opened by people who said it first.

Your mood shows on your profile while it's set. Change it, and the rooms you're shown change with it.

In a live room, tap someone's video and type. The note goes to them only. Nobody else in the room sees it, and you both stay in the room while you talk. It's how you say something to one person without making a scene of it.

A video room anyone can open. Up to ten people can be on camera at once and everyone else joins the chat underneath, with reactions and gifts. You name it, give it a mood and a vibe, and choose who can join and how long it runs.

No. You can sit in a room, read the chat and join in by typing. Going on camera is your call.

A random button. One tap rolls you into a room, a voice chat or a conversation somewhere in the app that has people in it. It's the fastest way to talk to someone new.

A ranking of people you'd probably get on with, refreshed every day. It's worked out from the rooms you've been in and who you actually talk to, not from your photos.

Yes, to everyone else on Frizz. Your name never shows on a confession or a reply. They're still moderated, so the guidelines still apply.

A day. Global Chat is one public text room everyone's in, and anything older than 24 hours is cleared.

We work at it. Everyone's 18 or older, and every account confirms an email. Profile photos, confessions, Global Chat and room chat are checked when they're posted, and real moderators review reports with the room and message context attached. Moderators can end a room mid-stream and warn, suspend or ban accounts, and a ban covers the email and Google account behind it.

18. Sign-up asks for your date of birth and stops anyone younger there. There's no teen version and no parental consent that changes it. If we find an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.

No. Your location is never shown to another user, not your coordinates and not your distance. Frizz only ever asks for an approximate location to fill in your country and city, and you can type them yourself instead.

Every profile, message, confession and room has a report button. Block stops them seeing you straight away, and you can report without blocking. A report about a child goes to the front of the queue.

The person got verified. That's optional: you take a selfie copying a pose and a moderator compares it with your photos. No face recognition is involved, and the selfie is deleted once they've decided.

In the app: your profile, then Settings, Account, Delete account. Without the app, email legal@frizz.live from the address on your account. The delete your account page says what goes and what stays.

Power Pack is billed by Google Play, so you cancel it there: open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, and Frizz. In Frizz, the Power Pack screen has a Manage in Google Play button that takes you to the same place.

Deleting your Frizz account doesn't cancel it. The cancel Power Pack page has every step.

Purchases go through Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play's rules and start there. If something went wrong on our side, email support@frizz.live.

No. Coins can't be exchanged for money. Stars, which you get when someone sends you a gift, convert into coins, two Stars for one coin.
